The first part of the dimensioning of a medical gas piping system is to lay down the terminal units in all the various locations : In-patient wards, Accident & Emergency, Operating Rooms, Maternity, Radiological, Critical care areas etc.
Once all the terminal units are located, it will be possible to evaluate the diversified flow of each section of the medical pipe. Finally, knowing the diversified flow of each portion of pipe and the lenght of the same portion of pipe, a pressure loss will be determined. The idea is to always keep a reasonable pressure loss of less than 5% between the production room and the most remote terminal unit.
Don’t hesitate to submit your project to our commercial team and we will be more than happy to contribute to the dimensoining of your piping system according to the highest standards.
